The China Chamber of Commerce for Machinery and Electronics Industry (CCCME) has issued an initiative to oppose unfair competition and uphold the high-quality development of the photovoltaic industry in foreign trade. The initiative mentions that some companies are engaging in short-sighted behaviors such as exporting below cost price in order to grab market share, which not only harms the overall interests of the industry, but also has a negative impact on the international reputation of China's photovoltaic industry. The CCCME firmly opposes all forms of unfair competition, including exporting below cost price. The Chamber calls on photovoltaic companies to strictly abide by the principles of fair competition, conduct business activities in accordance with laws and regulations, and reasonably control the pace of capacity expansion according to global market demand, promoting orderly elimination of outdated capacity. The initiative also emphasizes the focus on technological innovation and quality improvement, shifting from "scale advantage" to "quality advantage" in photovoltaic products. Companies are encouraged to strengthen their self-discipline awareness and comply with the "Self-Discipline Code for Photovoltaic Industry Foreign Trade Companies".
