Guizhou market regulatory authorities conduct administrative talks to rectify the price chaos of platform enterprises.
On the afternoon of August 5th, the Guizhou Provincial Market Supervision Administration held a meeting with five travel platform companies including Ctrip, Tongcheng, Douyin, Meituan, and Fliggy. During the meeting, the Guizhou Provincial Market Supervision Administration required the related platform companies to immediately conduct comprehensive self-inspections and self-corrections, prohibit illegal behaviors such as price fraud, price manipulation, price collusion, and abuse of market dominance, and effectively maintain a fair and competitive market order. In the next step, the Guizhou Provincial Market Supervision Administration will closely monitor the competitive situation of the related platform companies, and strictly enforce the law against platform companies and operators who violate regulations or fail to rectify themselves in a timely manner. They will also publicly expose typical cases to create a strong deterrent and resolutely protect the good order of the province's tourism market and the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
