Tencent Holdings Limited and VR Capital Group led a round of investment in the Uzbek financial technology and e-commerce company Uzum, valuing the company at about $1.5 billion. Uzum stated on Tuesday that this investment round raised nearly $70 million, with FinSight Ventures also participating.
