Guangdong flood prevention emergency response level upgraded to level II.

Journalists learned from the Guangdong Provincial Emergency Management Department that, according to the monitoring and forecasting of meteorological and hydrological departments, Guangdong Province has experienced a large-scale heavy rainfall process, with rivers and floodwaters rising rapidly. Furthermore, heavy rainfall is expected to continue, making the flood prevention situation very severe. In accordance with the "Guangdong Province Emergency Plan for Flood Control, Drought Prevention, Wind Protection, and Frost Prevention" and relevant regulations of the Guangdong Provincial Civil Affairs Department, Guangdong Province has decided to upgrade the flood control emergency response level from Level III to Level II at 14:00 on August 5th.
