Google agrees to limit data center electricity usage to ease pressure on the U.S. power grid.

Google said on Monday that it has signed agreements with two American power companies to reduce the electricity consumption of its artificial intelligence data centers during periods of increased grid demand, in order to prevent the power usage of energy-intensive AI from exceeding the power supply.
