Reporters have noticed that in recent times, many top players have unexpectedly won big contracts. Recent examples include Zhiyuan Robotics and Yushu Technology "sharing" a total budget of 124 million yuan for the outsourcing of humanoid bipedal robot manufacturing services, and Ubtech winning a bid for a total budget of 90.51 million yuan for robot equipment procurement. Looking at a longer timeline, as of August 4th, data from Qichacha shows that Zhiyuan Robotics has won bids for 9 projects this year, Yushu Technology has won bids for 68 projects, and Ubtech has won bids for 16 projects. The number of bids won is approaching or surpassing the total for the previous year. Overall, the main application scenarios for these orders are in areas such as performance explanations and exhibition hall guides, which are interactive service fields. Industry insiders believe that entering the market through high-profile and low-tech threshold scenarios like performance tour guides is a common and practical choice for promoting new technologies, and is also a necessary foundation and starting point for expanding into industrial manufacturing and home service scenarios in the future. The current "wave of orders" in the humanoid robot industry is just one series of footprints left on this long journey of industry development.
