According to a report from Reuters on the 4th, an attack occurred in Zamfara State in northwest Nigeria, resulting in 11 deaths and at least 70 people kidnapped. Nigerian media reported that armed men attacked at least sixteen villages in the Kauranamoda area of the state on the 2nd and 3rd, randomly shooting residents, looting goods, and kidnapping mostly women and children. As of now, Nigerian officials have not responded to the incident.
