In order to remind the public to prevent and reduce disasters, Shandong issued a blue warning for heavy rain, a yellow warning for geological disaster meteorological risk, and a warning for mountain flood disaster. In addition, according to the "Shandong Province Flood and Drought Emergency Response Plan," after consultation and judgment, the Shandong Flood and Drought Control Headquarters decided to activate a level four flood control emergency response for Jinan, Qingdao, Zibo, Dongying, Yantai, Weifang, Jining, Tai'an, Weihai, Dezhou, and Binzhou starting at 18:00 on the 4th.
