Reporters learned from the Lanzhou Railway Bureau that from August 3rd to 4th, Gansu and Ningxia provinces experienced widespread heavy rainfall. To ensure the safety of passengers, the Lanzhou Railway Bureau quickly initiated emergency plans, closely monitored rainfall changes and track conditions 24 hours a day, strengthened real-time cooperation with meteorological departments, and adjusted train operation plans scientifically. Ticket offices at each station promptly opened additional ticket windows based on passenger flow to handle refund and change requests. The Lanzhou Station opened dedicated windows for refunds and changes in the ticket hall to expedite service processing. The Yinchuan Station placed safety signs at entrances, exits, and footbridges, conducted passenger flow guidance, and provided key passenger services to ensure safe and orderly travel for passengers on rainy days.
