Guangdong will upgrade its flood prevention Level IV emergency response to Level III.

After comprehensive discussions, considering that the rainfall in Guangdong Province will continue in the next few days, the risks of flooding in small and medium-sized rivers, flash floods, geological disasters, urban and rural waterlogging will further increase. According to the "Guangdong Province Flood, Drought, Wind, and Frost Emergency Plan" and relevant regulations of the Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters, the Guangdong Province Flood Control, Drought Relief, and Wind Control Headquarters has upgraded the flood control level IV emergency response to level III emergency response at 18:00 on August 4th.
