Syrian Kurdish forces say their positions have been attacked by Syrian government troops.

On August 4th local time, the Syrian Democratic Forces, dominated by Kurdish armed forces, stated that in the early hours of August 4th, Syrian government forces launched attacks on four positions of Kurdish armed forces in the Deir Hafer area of Aleppo's suburbs. The Kurdish armed forces retaliated against the attack. The Kurdish armed forces claimed that the repeated attacks by the Syrian government forces threatened the stability of the region and demanded that they take full responsibility for their actions.
