Textile Association convenes EU nylon yarn anti-dumping investigation respondent coordination meeting.

On the afternoon of August 1, 2025, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles held a coordination meeting for responding to the anti-dumping investigation of nylon yarn by the European Union. On July 29, 2025, in response to an application from the European Alliance of Nylon Yarn Producers, the European Commission issued a notice formally initiating an anti-dumping investigation on nylon yarn imported from China, with product codes 54023100, 54024500, 54025100, and 54026100. The dumping investigation period for this case is from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2022 to the end of the investigation period. The total amount involved in this case is approximately $70.51 million, with the majority of companies involved located in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Fujian, Hubei, Henan, and Xiamen. During this coordination meeting, the head of the Trade Remedies Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce made introductions on the bilateral trade situation between China and Europe, the situation of the EU domestic market, and responses to anti-dumping cases.
