China successfully launched Pakistan's remote sensing satellite 01, Pakistani Prime Minister said: Thank you to our Chinese partners for their support.
According to reports from the Pakistan Joint Communication Agency and other media outlets, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz recently posted on social media to congratulate China on the successful launch of Pakistan's remote sensing satellite 01. He also expressed gratitude for the support provided by Chinese partners in advancing Pakistan's space program.
"Congratulations to the Pakistan Advanced Remote Sensing Satellite for a successful launch. I sincerely congratulate the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission and the entire team!" Shahbaz said in his post on July 31, expressing that this reflects the continuous improvement in Pakistan-China cooperation.
Shahbaz also stated that the satellite can be used in various fields such as disaster management and agriculture. "We appreciate the invaluable support and cooperation of our Chinese partners in advancing Pakistan's space program," he said.
On July 31, using the Long March 1A carrier rocket, China successfully launched Pakistan's remote sensing satellite 01 from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The satellite entered its designated orbit smoothly, and the launch mission was a complete success. Pakistan's remote sensing satellite 01 is mainly used for national land survey and disaster prevention and mitigation.
