Beijing: Yanqing, Huairou and other districts have initiated level 1 flood prevention emergency response, while other regions have initiated level 2 flood prevention emergency response.
The Beijing Flood Control Headquarters has initiated a level one emergency response for flood prevention in Yanqing, Huairou, Miyun, Shijingshan, Mentougou, Fangshan, Fengtai districts, and also in Shunyi and Tongzhou areas along the Chaobai River mainstream and its management area. A level two emergency response for flood prevention has been activated in Dongcheng, Xicheng, Chaoyang, Haidian, Daxing, Changping, Pinggu, Economic Development Zone, and other areas outside the management area of the Chaobai River mainstream in Shunyi and Tongzhou. Residents in the level one emergency response area are advised not to go out unless necessary, and those who must travel should pay attention to travel reminders. Do not drive through waterlogged areas, and do not park vehicles in low-lying areas. Residents in the level two emergency response area are advised to minimize going out, pay attention to travel safety, stay away from riverbanks, and be cautious of floods, landslides, and mudslides in the watershed.
