Local heavy rainfall has caused two rivers in Guangxi to exceed their flood warning levels.

According to the monitoring data from the Guangxi Hydrological Center, from 8:00 on August 3 to 8:00 on August 4, parts of cities like Liuzhou, Wuzhou, Hechi, Guilin, and Baise experienced moderate to heavy rain, with some areas experiencing heavy to torrential rain. Local heavy rainfall caused two stations on the Longjiang, a tributary of the Gui River, and the Liubao River, a tributary of the Dong'an River, to exceed the warning level by 0.70 to 1.40 meters. The Guangxi Hydrological Center predicts that in the next 24 hours, there may be a noticeable rise in water levels of 1 to 4 meters in the He River, Gui River, Meng River, Beiliu River, Nanliu River, Xun River, and downstream branches of the Yu River. The cities of Hezhou, Wuzhou, Yulin, and Guigang may experience flooding in some small to medium-sized rivers exceeding the warning levels.
