On August 4th, Bank of Communications announced the adjustment of some debit card fee standards and will soon introduce the Mastercard Dual Currency Debit Card. The fee standards for some service items of the Mastercard Dual Currency Debit Card are different from the standard debit card, and are now announced as follows: Debit card issuance fee: 20 yuan/card for new card issuance; 20 yuan/card for card replacement. Overseas ATM inquiry transaction: $0.54 per transaction. Overseas ATM cash withdrawal transaction fee: 1.8% of the withdrawal amount + $1 per transaction. Retrieval of signed purchases fee: 25 yuan per transaction. The adjusted service item fee standards are scheduled to be implemented starting November 4, 2025.
