Australian natural gas producer Santos has signed a Narrabri gas supply agreement with French energy company Engie.

On August 4th, it was reported that Australian natural gas producer Santos has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with French energy company Engie to supply natural gas from the Narrabri gas project to the domestic market on the east coast of Australia. After the project is in operation, Santos will supply up to 20 petajoules of Narrabri natural gas to Engie annually for at least 10 years. Currently, the project still needs to go through final investment decisions, binding agreement signing, and internal approvals from both companies.
