The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, led government officials to attend the second session of the district consultation on the Policy Address today, continuing to listen to the opinions and suggestions of the public on the new Policy Address. Approximately 120 citizens from different backgrounds participated. It is reported that this district consultation covers a wide range of topics including land and housing, transportation, innovation and technology, financial development, culture and sports, education, youth, poverty alleviation, healthcare services, and social welfare. Carrie Lam stated that he feels the enthusiasm and confidence of the citizens towards Hong Kong, which has inspired him and will aid him in writing the Policy Address. He and his team will carefully study the opinions of the citizens one by one, develop policies to promote economic development, and improve people's livelihoods.
