At 23:15 on August 2, the meteorological station in Pinggu District, Beijing upgraded and issued a yellow alert for heavy rain. It is expected that from now until 5:00 on the 3rd, some areas in Pinggu may have hourly rainfall of over 50 millimeters, with a total accumulated rainfall of over 70 millimeters in 6 hours. Secondary disasters such as flash floods, mudslides, and landslides may occur in mountainous and hilly areas, while low-lying areas may experience water accumulation. Please take precautions. Currently, Miyun and Huairou are under an orange alert for heavy rain, while Yanqing, Shunyi, and Pinggu are under a yellow alert for heavy rain.
