This afternoon, the Beijing Municipal People's Government Information Office held a press conference on flood prevention and disaster relief in Beijing. Reporters learned from the meeting that as of 12:00 on July 31st, the inflow of water into the Miyun Reservoir in the past 7 days has reached 910 million cubic meters, exceeding nearly 30% of the historical maximum of 710 million cubic meters in 1974. As of 12:00 on July 31st, the water level of the reservoir has dropped to 155.37 meters, and the reservoir dam is safe and stable.
