The Cyberspace Administration of China discusses the security risks of H20 computing power chip vulnerabilities with NVIDIA.

According to the Wise Finance APP, recently, serious security issues were exposed in NVIDIA's computing chips. Previously, American lawmakers called for advanced chips exported by the United States to be equipped with "tracking and positioning" functions. American experts in the field of artificial intelligence revealed that NVIDIA's computing chips' "tracking and positioning" and "remote shutdown" technologies have matured. In order to safeguard the network security and data security of Chinese users, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Cybersecurity Law, the Data Security Law, and the Personal Information Protection Law, the National Internet Information Office summoned NVIDIA on July 31, 2025, requesting NVIDIA to explain the security risks of backdoors in the H20 computing chips sold to China and submit relevant proof materials.
