Former party secretary and director of the board of directors of the Qinghai Province Supply and Marketing Cooperative Union, Zhang Xiaojun, has been expelled from the party and dismissed from office.

According to the information from the Discipline Inspection Commission of Qinghai Province, with the approval of the Communist Party of China Qinghai Provincial Committee, the Discipline Inspection Commission of Qinghai Province is conducting a case review and investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal issues of Zhang Xiaojun, the former party secretary and chairman of the board of directors of the Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperative Union. Zhang Xiaojun has seriously violated the Party's political discipline, integrity discipline, and national laws and regulations, constituting a serious violation of official duties and suspicion of bribery crimes. He has not restrained himself, continued his wrongdoing after the 18th National Congress of the Party, and his actions have been serious and detrimental, therefore he should be dealt with seriously. In accordance with relevant provisions of the "Disciplinary Measures of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Administrative Disciplinary Measures for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," after discussions at meetings of the Standing Committee of the Qinghai Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission, the Standing Committee of the Qinghai Provincial Party Committee, and approval by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, it has been decided to expel Zhang Xiaojun from the Party, dismiss him from his public office by the Qinghai Provincial Supervision Commission, revoke his qualifications as a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Party and the 14th Party Congress of Qinghai Province, confiscate his illegal gains, and transfer his suspected criminal issues to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution in accordance with the law, along with the relevant properties.
