This year, more than 23,000 companies nationwide have participated in overseas exhibitions.
This morning, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) held a press conference. Reporters learned that CCPIT has been actively guiding enterprises to participate in overseas exhibitions and expanding diversified international markets. As of now, there are more than 23,000 companies from across the country participating in overseas exhibitions. In the first half of the year, CCPIT approved 1,418 project plans for international economic and trade exhibitions in 6 batches, with a planned exhibition area of 826,000 square meters. By now, 54 group exhibition units have completed exhibition projects in 44 countries and regions, with an actual exhibition area of 382,000 square meters and over 23,000 participating companies. Wang Linjie, the spokesperson for CCPIT, introduced that in the second quarter, the number of participating companies from emerging markets such as ASEAN and Latin America accounted for 39.8%, an increase of 8.5 percentage points compared to the same period in 2024. As the number of participating companies from emerging markets steadily increases, it shows a good trend of "market diversification and structural optimization"; the overseas exhibition of emerging industries such as new energy and electronic information continues to rise in popularity.
