The National Internet Information Office released the "National Informationization Development Report" yesterday. The report shows that by 2024, China's cross-border e-commerce import and export will reach about 2.71 trillion yuan, and the number of "Silk Road e-commerce" partner countries will increase to 33. China's informationization development has made new progress and achievements in five aspects: innovation, empowerment, inclusiveness, security, and openness. China's research and development capabilities in integrated circuits are continuously enhanced, operating systems are accelerating in scale application, and the installed base of the open-source Hongmeng OS has exceeded 1 billion devices. Breakthroughs in cutting-edge technologies such as quantum information, brain-computer interfaces, and digital twins continue to emerge. By 2024, China's digital industry will achieve a business income of 35 trillion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 5.5%, with a total of 20.6 million direct employees.
