Indian Tata Motors will invest nearly 3.8 billion euros to acquire Iveco.

On July 30th, Tata Motors and Iveco announced an agreement to establish a commercial vehicle group with an annual sales volume of over approximately 540,000 vehicles. The acquisition offer by Tata Motors for Iveco has a total consideration of approximately 3.8 billion euros, excluding net proceeds from the latter's defense business and its divestitures. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first half of 2026. The sale of Iveco's defense business is expected to be completed in the first quarter of next year, with a final completion date no later than March 31, 2026.
