Air China opens direct flight route from Beijing to Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Air China, China's national airline, opened a direct flight route from Beijing to Almaty, Kazakhstan on July 30. The inaugural flight celebration ceremony was held at Almaty International Airport on the same day. The newly opened Beijing-Almaty route flights are numbered CA799/800, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using a Boeing 737 aircraft.
