Ministry of Ecology and Environment convenes executive meeting of the department.

On July 30, Minister of Ecology and Environment Huang Runqiu presided over the executive meeting of the ministry, reviewing and approving in principle the three-year work plan for further deepening the reform of the ecological environment zoning management system and its application, the list of toxic and harmful substances in key controlled soils, and the list of major changes in construction projects using nuclear technology. The meeting also approved three national ecological and environmental standards: the technical guidelines for environmental impact assessment of environmental impact reports for near-surface disposal of solid radioactive waste, the impact test guidelines for radioactive material transportation containers, and the heat resistance test guidelines for radioactive material transportation containers. Secretary of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment Party Group, Sun Jinlong, attended the meeting.
