Since the beginning of this year, A-share listed companies have been quite active in private placements. According to Wind information data, as of July 30, a total of 76 listed companies on the A-share market have completed private placements this year, with a total of 882.25 billion shares issued and a total actual fundraising amount of 6633.02 billion yuan, an increase of 667.15% year-on-year. As important financial institutions in the market, securities firms actively seize related business opportunities, on the one hand, by serving as lead underwriters or financial advisors to provide private placement services for listed companies, expanding the growth space of investment banking business; on the other hand, actively participating in the private placements of listed companies, seizing investment opportunities by subscribing to the issuance of additional shares.
