The total revenue was $1.743 billion, compared to $1.557 billion in the same period last year, analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.737 billion. Wingstop said its board of directors increased the quarterly dividend from $0.27 per share to $0.30 per share on Tuesday, to be paid to shareholders registered as of August 15 on September 5.
