The South African parliament has passed two bills, including the 2025 fiscal budget.

At the plenary meeting of the National Provincial Affairs Committee of South Africa on the 30th, the "2025 Appropriations Act" and the "Amendment Act for Debt Relief of the South African National Electricity Company" were passed, marking the completion of parliamentary review of the budget for the 2025/26 fiscal year and the debt restructuring plan of the South African National Electricity Company. The next step will be to submit them to South African President Ramaphosa for approval to take effect.
