On the afternoon of July 30th, the Ministry of National Defense held a routine press conference, and Colonel Zhang Xiaogang, the spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense, announced that the navies of China and Russia will conduct the "Maritime Cooperation-2025" joint exercise in the sea and airspace near Vladivostok in August. After the joint exercise, some participating forces from both sides will organize the 6th joint maritime patrol in the relevant waters of the Pacific Ocean. This is part of the annual cooperation plan between the Chinese and Russian militaries, not directed at any third party, and unrelated to the current international and regional situation.
