Guo Yanhong, deputy director of the National Health Commission, stated at a press conference on July 30 that in terms of childcare subsidies, each province implements a unified childcare subsidy policy and standard at the city level. In provinces with small regional differences, a unified childcare subsidy policy and standard can also be implemented within the province. In other words, childcare subsidy policies should be coordinated at least at the city level. Improving the coordination level of policies helps avoid fragmentation of policies and effectively enhance the stability and sustainability of policies.
