Ministry of Finance: National issuance of new local government bonds reached 2.6127 trillion yuan from January to June.

According to the Wise Finance APP, on July 30th, the Ministry of Finance announced that in June 2025, a total of 628.1 billion yuan in new bonds were issued nationwide, including 101 billion yuan in general bonds and 527.1 billion yuan in special bonds. A total of 547.2 billion yuan in refinancing bonds were issued nationwide, including 267.4 billion yuan in general bonds and 279.8 billion yuan in special bonds. In total, local government bonds worth 1.1753 trillion yuan were issued nationwide, including 368.4 billion yuan in general bonds and 806.9 billion yuan in special bonds. From January to June 2025, a total of 261.27 billion yuan in new local government bonds were issued nationwide, including 452 billion yuan in general bonds and 216.07 billion yuan in special bonds. A total of 28.775 billion yuan in refinancing bonds were issued nationwide, including 72.73 billion yuan in general bonds and 215.02 billion yuan in special bonds. The total issuance of local government bonds nationwide amounted to 549.02 billion yuan, including 117.93 billion yuan in general bonds and 431.09 billion yuan in special bonds.
