Canalys: Huawei regains top spot in the Chinese smartphone market in the second quarter, Apple falls to fifth place.

According to Canalys data, Huawei regained the top spot in the Chinese smartphone market in the second quarter of 2025, while Apple ranked fifth. Huawei ranked first with a shipment of 12.2 million units, a year-on-year increase of 15%, and a market share of 18%. Vivo followed closely behind with a shipment of 11.8 million units, capturing a 17% market share. However, compared to its shipment of 13.1 million units in the second quarter of 2024, Vivo's shipments decreased by 10% year-on-year.
