Five food safety cases involving false labeling of "zero additives" and the hiring of "water armies" to induce consumption have been announced.

In the first half of this year, a total of 181,000 cases of food safety violations were investigated and handled by the entire system, with fines totaling 740 million yuan and 653 cases transferred to judicial authorities. Today, 5 typical cases were reported. Food safety is of great importance, and the market supervision department will continue to increase law enforcement efforts, comprehensively utilize means such as joint law enforcement, credit punishment, and coordination of enforcement, making violators pay a heavy price. Therefore, we remind all food producers and operators: compliance and integrity are the foundation of business success, and any disregard for the law will be severely punished; at the same time, we also call on all sectors of society to participate in supervision and safeguard the "food safety on the tip of the people's tongue".
