Recently, heavy rainfalls have been causing flooding and geological disasters in areas such as East China, North China, and Northeast China. On July 29, the Red Cross Society of China held a special meeting to deploy current flood control and disaster relief work, sending out relief work teams to assist Beijing in relocating and providing assistance to the affected population. The Red Cross Society of China urgently allocated more than 21,000 relief items, including family packs, tents, folding beds, jackets, towels, etc., to the disaster-stricken areas of Beijing, Hebei, and Inner Mongolia. The Red Cross Foundation of China allocated more than 3,600 relief items, including family packs, milk, mineral water, etc., to support the relocation and assistance of the affected population.
