Further regulate the road testing, demonstration application, and commercial pilot work of intelligent connected vehicles in Inner Mongolia.

The Industrial and Information Technology Department, Public Security Department, and Transport Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region recently issued the "Management Measures for the Testing, Demonstration Application, and Commercialization Pilot of Intelligent Connected Vehicles on Roads in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region". It mentions that road testing, demonstration application, and commercialization pilot should follow the principles of ensuring safety, progressing from easy to difficult, and gradually advancing. In order to upgrade to a demonstration application or commercialization pilot, a certain distance must be reached in road testing or demonstration application without any traffic accidents involving the test vehicles taking place during that period, and the responsible party must assume equal or greater responsibility in case of any accidents.
