According to China Construction News, on July 23, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Qin Haixiang met with the Director of the Development Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Ning Hanhao, in Beijing to discuss topics such as building standards, prefabricated buildings, and training of construction professionals. Qin Haixiang stated that the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will further promote in-depth exchanges between mainland China and Hong Kong in areas such as engineering construction standards, prefabricated buildings, urban renewal, and exchange and training of construction professionals, leveraging their respective strengths to promote the internationalization of Chinese construction standards and help construction companies expand overseas, in order to promote the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry and achieve high-quality development.
