Philips lowers tariff impact expectations to 1.5 to 2 billion euros.
After the United States and the European Union agreed on a 15% tariff on most EU goods, Dutch medical technology giant Philips revised down its expectations of the tariff impact on imports on Tuesday. The group said it expects the tariffs to have an impact of 1.5 to 2 billion euros, lower than the previous estimate of 2.5 to 3 billion euros. Philips said in a statement that the impact of tariffs had "evolved and will continue to be dynamic". The company also raised its core profit margin expectations from the previous 10.8%-11.3% to 11.3%-11.8%.
