Guo Mingxi, an analyst at TF International Securities, released a blog post stating that Tesla is expected to mass-produce AI6 chips in 2027, using Samsung's 2-nanometer advanced process. The current yield of SF2 is 40-50%, lower than TSMC's N2 process which is over 70% and Intel's 18A which is 50-55%. SF2 adopts GAA technology similar to SF3, which is beneficial for mass production, but it is still difficult to predict whether SF2's AI6 chips will be mass-produced on schedule.
