On July 29, the Director of the Market and Information Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Lei Liugong, stated at a press conference that next steps will be taken to deploy the "Promotion Plan for Agricultural Product Consumption" in collaboration with relevant departments to vigorously expand channels for agricultural product consumption and enrich consumption scenes. Efforts will be made to fully tap into festival markets. For holidays and agricultural festivals, efforts will be made to guide all regions to extensively carry out themed activities such as bringing high-quality green agricultural products into shopping districts, streets, and tourist attractions, organizing live broadcasts of product origin tracing, and food tastings to allow consumers to visually experience the entire process from the source to the table, thus enhancing the consumption experience and satisfaction. This year's Chinese Farmers Harvest Festival and the Golden Autumn Consumption Season will also launch a series of promotional activities such as "100 Influencers + 1,000 villages + 10,000 products" to aid farmers and promote consumption, introduce a batch of characteristic agricultural festival brands, and create immersive harvest-themed consumption scenes.
