Industry insiders say that the price increase effect of DDR4 can continue until the end of 2025.

Major memory manufacturers have successively announced plans to stop production of DDR4 DRAM. Customers who are unable to immediately upgrade have started to verify new DDR4 suppliers. Memory module companies indicate that second-quarter end customers are actively placing orders, and the strong sales momentum is expected to continue into the second half of the year. Spot prices of DDR4 have surged, even exceeding those of DDR5. It is anticipated that the price increase for DDR4 will continue until the end of 2025, while the usage of DDR5 is expected to grow each quarter. It is estimated by the industry that starting from the first quarter of 2026, the price increase momentum for DDR4 will gradually decrease each quarter.
