The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue a blue typhoon warning at 06:00 on July 29th.

Typhoon No.8 of this year, "Zhu Jie Cao", was located at 5 am this morning in the southeastern direction of Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, about 425 kilometers south of the eastern part of the East China Sea, at a position of 27.3 degrees north latitude and 125.3 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind speed near the center is 8 levels, and the minimum central pressure is 992 hPa, with a radius of 200-300 kilometers for winds at level 7. It is expected that "Zhu Jie Cao" will move west-northwest at a speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour, gradually increasing in intensity. It is expected to land along the coast from Sanmen, Zhejiang, to Qidong, Jiangsu, during the day on the 30th, with its intensity gradually weakening after landing. It is also possible to move northward in the northern offshore waters of Zhejiang.
