Beijing issues orange alert for waterlogging, residents are advised to avoid low-lying areas as much as possible.

The Beijing Municipal Water Authority and the Beijing Municipal Meteorological Bureau jointly issued an orange warning for urban waterlogging on July 28 at 22:30. It is expected that from 23:00 on the 28th to 8:00 on the 29th, there will be a high risk of waterlogging in the central urban areas of Haidian District, Fengtai District, Tongzhou District, Chaoyang District, and other areas in Beijing. The public is reminded to pay attention to the weather situation and changes in rainfall, avoid low-lying areas as much as possible when traveling, and take measures to protect underground spaces.
