Beijing issues orange alert for urban waterlogging.

The Beijing Water Resources Bureau and the Beijing Meteorological Bureau jointly issued an orange alert for urban waterlogging on July 28, 2025 at 22:30. It is expected that from 23:00 on the 28th to 8:00 on the 29th, there will be a high risk of waterlogging in central urban areas such as Haidian District, Fengtai District, Tongzhou District, and Chaoyang District. The general public is reminded to pay attention to the weather situation and changes in rainfall, and try to avoid low-lying areas when traveling, while also taking measures to protect underground spaces.
