On July 28th, BYD held a media exchange meeting at its headquarters in Shenzhen focusing on technological breakthroughs and future plans in the fields of electrification and intelligence. Yang Dongsheng, Senior Vice President of BYD Group and Dean of the Automotive New Technology Research Institute, said in an interview that the relevant authorities have further strengthened the regulation and management of "advanced driving assistance" in terms of naming and public relations. This will promote the industry to return to rationality and make whole vehicle companies pay more attention to the safety attributes of intelligent functions.
