According to the Securities Times, Savills said that during the first five months of this year, Hong Kong received over 20 million international tourists, surpassing the 44.5 million recorded last year. Although this is an increase of 11.9% compared to the same period last year, it is still 22% lower than the peak in 2018. The recovery is mainly driven by short-haul leisure travel, especially from Mainland China, Thailand, and Taiwan, and benefits from promotions such as "Hong Kong Night Delights".
