The Ministry of Water Resources has upgraded the flood defense emergency response level from level IV to level III for Beijing and Hebei.

Journalists learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that currently, the water levels of Chao Bai River, Ju River, and Luan River are continuously rising, with some rivers experiencing floods exceeding the safety level, and it is forecasted to continue raining tonight until tomorrow. According to the "Emergency Response Regulations for Flood and Drought Disasters Prevention and Control Work" of the Ministry of Water Resources, the flood defense emergency response level for Beijing and Hebei will be raised from level IV to level III at 9:00 pm on July 28th.
