Ministry of Natural Resources initiates Level IV response for geological disaster prevention in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.

According to the meteorological department forecast, due to the impact of Typhoon No. 8 "Zhujielu", some areas in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces will experience heavy rainfall. The Geological Hazard Technical Guidance Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources assessed that there is a higher risk of geological disasters in the southern part of Jiangsu, eastern and northwestern parts of Zhejiang. In accordance with the "Work Plan for Geological Disaster Defense Response" of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry has decided to initiate a Level IV response to geological disasters at 14:00 on July 28th.
