Shanxi issues dual warnings for geological disasters and flash floods.

On the afternoon of July 28th, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Shanxi Provincial Meteorological Bureau jointly issued a geological disaster meteorological risk warning: From 20:00 on July 28th to 20:00 on July 29th, it is expected that there will be a high risk of geological disasters in 35 counties in 7 cities including Taiyuan, Datong, Yangquan, Shuozhou, Jinzhong, Xinzhou, and Lvliang; and there will be a certain risk of geological disasters in 15 counties in 5 cities including Taiyuan, Yangquan, Jinzhong, Xinzhou, and Lvliang. In addition, at 17:00 today, the Shanxi Provincial Department of Water Resources and the Shanxi Provincial Meteorological Bureau also jointly issued a mountain flood disaster meteorological risk warning: Due to heavy rainfall, from 20:00 on July 28th to 20:00 on July 29th, there is a high possibility of mountain floods in 21 counties in 3 cities including the western and central regions of Datong, Shuozhou, and western and central regions of Xinzhou; and there may be mountain floods in 60 counties in 7 cities including the southeastern of Datong, eastern and southern parts of Xinzhou, Taiyuan, Yangquan, Jinzhong, Lvliang, and Changzhi.
